New functionality has been added to Touch v11.0.011 for the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS)requirements. It has been done in a way that allows flexibility to add multiple rates and deposit descriptions that should work in different countries where the rules may vary.
The initial development was done for use in Ireland where they will be using 2 rates.
• 15c for applicable plastic bottles and cans from 150ml – 500ml
• 25c for applicable plastic bottles and cans over 500ml – 3 Litre
The deposit amount will automatically be added as a separate total when applicable products are entered on the till.
